I was introduced to Pyrrha almost 20 years ago, a Canadian-based company making sustainable, handcrafted talismans rich in symbolism with deep personal meaning. My family has a number of beautiful talismans that reflect important celebrations, milestones, and experiences.
When I was getting ready to release TWAC we reached out to Pyrrha to explore partnering on a talisman. When I saw the Struggle and Emerge talisman, it's message resonated with me so deeply. This talisman reads “Luctor & Emergo”, which is Latin for “I Struggle and Emerge.” The wolf atop a mountain symbolizes the relief, joy and triumph of the spirit as we surmount life’s challenges.
This message reflects the journey I went through to create TWAC - which I wrote and recorded during the pandemic. The message of resilience is one that I hold close to my heart.
We have made 19 of these available - I'm wearing the 20th! - and each one is engraved on the back with my initials and TWAC. We have two chain lengths. I'm wearing the 22" - and this other talisman that I wear is 28" which is the length of the other chain we have available.
