  • Signed to Hypnotic/MCA after Sayce’s first showcase in Toronto fresh out of highschool to release Philip Sayce Group album with international accolades in Billboard and Guitar Player magazine

  • Invited by musical icon and multi-platinum award winning musician, Jeff Healey, to record and tour the world for four years, including performances at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival and Pori Jazz Festival.

  • Performance at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Festival at Madison Square Garden and highlighted as one of the top performers of the festival by Premier Guitar Magazine

  • Invited to record and tour with Uncle Kracker while “Drift Away” was #1 for 28 weeks in America. Sayce can be heard on the Lava/Atlantic album No Stranger To Shame.

  • Producer John Shanks introduces Sayce to Melissa Etheridge. Sayce goes on to collaborate with Etheridge for the next four years, joining her band and touring the world, recording in the studio. Philip can be heard on Etheridge’s “Lucky Live”, “Greatest Hits”, “The Awakening”, and on the Oscar winning song, “I Need To Wake Up”.

  • Performed the Oscar winning song, “I Need To Wake Up” to an audience of 1 Billion people at the Academy Awards. The studio recording, which Sayce is featured on, can be heard in Al Gore’s award-winning film “An Inconvenient Truth”.

  • Performance at The Grammys with Melissa Etheridge and Joss Stone honoring Janis Joplin. Performance of “Cry Baby/Piece of My Heart” topped #1 on iTunes in Canada and the U.S.

  • Performed “God Bless America” at the Democratic National Convention with Melissa Etheridge during Barack Obama’s rise to presidency.

  • Performance on The Oprah Show with Melissa Etheridge. Standing ovation from Oprah who exclaimed “Philip… when you went to space on the guitar… I thought, I’m going to learn how to play!”.

  • Releases five albums with Mascot/Provogue Records, resulting in Amazon and iTunes #1’s across Europe. Countless headlining tours across Europe and The UK, including direct support tours with Deep Purple and ZZ Top.

  • Releases “Influence”, produced by multi Grammy award winner Dave Cobb.

  • Signs with Warner Music Canada, “Influence” becomes Sayce’s major debut. Sayce also releases “Scorched Earth Live EP” with Warner Music Canada.

  • Sayce’s cover of Ten Years After classic “I’d Love To Change The World” becomes a Top 20 active rock radio hit in Canada.

  • Performance at Fuji Rock Festival in Japan, Montreal Jazz Festival, and countless additional international headlining dates.

  • Sayce’s “Morning Star” hits 10M streams on Spotify.

  • Spirit Rising released in 2020 during the pandemic has over 12 million streams on Spotify alone without touring, publicity, or any radio campaigns.
